My Sweet Smokey and I ...

This was taken on the last day 

Smokey and I had together 
on April 6th, 2013 ... 
(I so remember the tears I was shedding 
as I held her close to me 
knowing that within a few hours
I would be saying my last good-bye to her.) 

I miss her so very much 

and will always be grateful 

for the 18 years we had with each other

Always loved and always missed 
my sweet and precious, Smokey ...

We had a scare but he is cancer free!
He is truly my best friend
and adds such joy to my life!

at Giant Springs State Park and fish hatchery.

This is in Great Falls, Montana.

We lived in Great Falls from 1979 to 1982 

when my husband was stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base. 

We visited this park often

when we lived in Great Falls.

It is one of nature's wonders!

It was good to be back in Great Falls again!

My Grandmother ...

I never knew my grandmother as she died 

before I was born ... 

 from all the stories I have heard about her 

she was truly a remarkable woman 

so loving and so very kind 

and never had a bad word to say about anyone

and she was gifted with much beauty ...

Her name was Annie ...

This little girl lights up my life 

I adore her so much ... 

My Hero ...

I am proud to be his wife!!! 

He rode over 100 miles last weekend 

in Moab, Utah, at the Skinny Tire Festival 

He has been doing this for 14 years!

All the money raised goes to cancer research. 

My hero, indeed!

Cross-Country Skiing ...

My love took me cross-country skiing 

It was so good for my soul

My Friend Gabriel and I ...

We met Gabriel in Cancun in 2004

at the all-inclusive resort we go to.

We have been back over the years 

and so thrilled he's still working there!

We always asked to be seated in his area

and he was always such a kindly server.

It was so good to see Gabriel again!

Beer Time in Cancun ...

I am not much of a beer drinker 

but I managed to drink 

the whole 28oz.

(over a 2 hour dinner span) 

When my daughter saw this photo
she said the beer was bigger than I am
(Almost ...LOL )

Cross-Country Skiing in Breckinridge, Colorado ...

Hubby and I went cross-country skiing a few weeks ago

The scenery was breathtaking and the snow was perfect ...

She came to visit us in the spring.

and she will soon be two years of age.

Being a grandmother is such a blessing!
