Good Friends ...

David and Erica have been friends for a long time.
They were 5 years of age in this picture and are now 24.
I met Erica's mother when they moved to Colorado in 1991.
Melissa and I became 'instant friends' as did David and Erica.
There is nothing better than 'good friends for life'

    I have a wonderful friend, we met in 1954!!!!, these days we phone call, email or Skype, living about 6 hours from each-other. We have shared so much, with joy and sadness, births and deaths entwined. Lovely photo, greetings from Jean

    A touching subject for a post. Friends are such a stabilizing influence. I'm glad I have a few. Even the many friends who wandered away over the years leave me feeling privileged to have been part of their pasts.

      These two cuties have been friends for almost 22 years and I have been friends with Erica's mom for the same amount of time.
      Where would we be without friends?

    Margie, this friendship is priceless. I love the stories like yours very much.

    I have a wonderful friend also. She is much younger than I am but it doesn't matter. We talk with each other every day on the phone. We laugh, we argue, we care of each other. Sometimes we ask each other simple things like " what is new?" or "is everything OK?" And that is enough.

    I will be away for a while, my dear Margie.
